Since 1991, the International Food Information Council Foundation has been dedicated to effectively communicating science-based information on health, food safety and nutrition for the public good. We now welcome you to our new Web site.
We hope that you enjoy exploring the many new resources on FoodInsight.org. To ensure that you do not miss out on the latest information, we also ask that you please register on-line and select the products that you want delivered to you on a regular, automatic basis, including our:
- FoodInsight monthly e-newsletter, which, like its print predecessor, communicates science-based food safety and nutrition information in an impactful, credible manner to help health professionals and others communicate more effectively on these topics with consumers;
- New FoodInsight blog, which will explore the food safety, nutrition, and health news of the day as well as other “hot” topics;
- YouTube Channel, Food Insight TV, which provides perspectives on a variety of topics from experts and the general “person-on-the-street;” and
- RSS feeds to get real-time updates on various food safety and nutrition topics
Our upgraded Web site also features an expanded news room section (link) for journalists and food bloggers. We also have an interactive database of food, nutrition and safety experts who have volunteered to assist professional communicators in understanding the nuances of scientific research.
