Consumer Research: Insights Regarding Food Biotechnology

The International Food Information Council (IFIC) conducts a nationally representative survey designed to gain insights into consumer perceptions of food biotechnology and modern food production. The survey tracks public awareness and perceptions of plant and animal biotechnology, measures confidence in the U.S. food supply, gauges opinions regarding potential benefits of biotechnology in various food applications, and uncovers opinions on emerging issues such as sustainability.
