Cooking delicious food for your family is good. Making sure they're safe is even better. Helping parents manage both these efforts at the same time is best.

Please join @FoodInsight for a #KannyKitchen Twitter Chat on practical safe food handling tips and kitchen tricks for families to reduce the risk of foodborne illness. Experts including Melissa Joy Dobbins (@MelissaJoyRD), a Registered Dietitian, mom, nutrition and food safety expert, and the Partnership for Food Safety Education (@Fight_BAC) will be on hand, along with food safety experts (@FoodInsight), to provide insights into why nutrition and food safety can go hand in hand, what challenges face parents in cooking for their families, and easy tips and tricks to improve your safe food handling practices. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences and resources.
