As the summer months approach, we will inevitably gravitate more toward outdoor activities that allow us to bask in the warmth of the sun. In warmer temperatures, especially while being physically active outdoors, it is important to remember to stay hydrated throughout the day by drinking plenty of liquids. “Proper hydration keeps our bodies running the way they’re supposed to,” says fitness expert, author, and celebrity trainer, Kathy Kaehler. Most beverages count toward your daily water intake, including water, juice, tea, coffee, and carbonated beverages. Yes, even caffeinated beverages count.
