The International Food Information Council (IFIC) Foundation is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to the mission of effectively communicating science-based information on health, nutrition and food safety for the public good.  Our vision is a global environment where credible science drives food policy and consumer choice.

The IFIC Foundation recognizes the global nature of food and health issues.  We regularly engage and share our educational resources with independent Food Information Organizations, communications partner organizations, health officials, health professionals, food safety specialists, scientists, media organizations, stakeholders, and consumers around the world.

We also work in collaborative communications and consumer attitudinal research projects with leading U.S. and international government agencies and philanthropic organizations. We share our expertise at leading international conferences and design and conduct workshops in key world regions.

This section of our website provides access to resources that will be of value to all those who wish to ensure and gain access to a healthful and safe global food supply.  We encourage you to check out the many publications that provide readily-understandable insight on food safety, nutrition and health, together with science-based guidance on diet and physical activity, that will help you to optimize your health and well-being.
