News Bite: Whole Grains Summit Focuses on Collaboration Opportunities to Improve Consumption

The Whole Grains Summit 2015 will be held June 24-27, 2015 in Portland, Oregon. The Moore Family Center for Whole Grain Foods, Nutrition and Preventive Health at Oregon State University and the Grains for Health Foundation are hosting this event. This conference is a collaborative effort among various sectors working with whole grains and food, from government to academia to industry. Presenters will examine and prioritize solutions that bridge research gaps and overcome barriers to increasing whole grain consumption at local, national, and global levels. Additionally, this meeting will have a special focus on moving past idea generation to true action and impact through collaborative efforts.
