The International Food Information Council (IFIC) Foundation respects your privacy. We will only make use of personally identifiable information that you provide to us for purposes of serving you better. The IFIC Foundation gives the user the opportunity to register and sign-up for newsletters, RSS feeds, notification of new publications, confirm event registrations, to save site bookmarks, and other information from the Foundation. The website collects the following information from registered users: name; address; telephone number; e-mail address.
You do not have to be a registered user to browse the website’s content. We will never sell or share any of the individual identifying information with any third party without your consent or court order. If you wish to change your preferences for receiving information from the IFIC Foundation please log on to the website and click on “my account” where you will be able to modify your subscription preferences.
The IFIC Foundation also collects the following information regarding visitors to our website for purposes of security and website performance monitoring: domain name from which the visitor came; information regarding which pages on our website are accessed. This information is collected anonymously, and we do not correlate this information with data about individual users, nor do we share this information or sell it to any third party.

Terms of Use - Content and Blog Comments
The IFIC Foundation wants to receive your feedback and comments on our content and blog posts on our website -- FoodInsight.org. We will be courteous and professional in our postings and ask that you do the same.
Comments posted to our blog will go through a moderation process, but should be posted within a reasonable amount of time provided they do not contain content that:
- is abusive
- uses offensive or inflammatory language
- is off-topic
- is factually spam
- is posted anonymously or with a fake name
- is factually inaccurate or misleading
All comments made on FoodInsight.org are the responsibility of the commenter, not the IFIC Foundation website or the blog administrator, contributor, editor or author. By submitting a comment on our website, you agree that the comment content is your own, and to hold our organization, the IFIC Foundation, and all its representatives harmless from any and all repercussions, damages or liability. If a comment includes medical/health information, that information must be referenced with a citation. The only exception is citing a personal experience, which is anything the commentor has undergone himself/herself.
Comments to FoodInsight.org content and blog posts are visible to all site visitors. Once a comment has been made and approved, it cannot be edited or deleted by anyone other than the website administrators.
