Food safety continues to be a topic of discussion in major news outlets and for the general public, so the International Food Information Council Foundation has decided to provide you the opportunity to ask questions to a well known food safety expert and Director of Consumer Research at the University of California at Davis, Dr. Christine Bruhn.  The Foundation will host a "live chat" with Dr. Bruhn via Twitter on Wednesday, February 24 at 10:00am ET.

Who is Dr. Christine Bruhn?

Dr. Bruhn has expertise in consumer behavior, food science, and consumer economics.  She taught food science and consumer courses at the University of California and California State University before joining Cooperative Extension in 1986. As a Consumer Food Marketing Specialist, she studies consumer attitudes toward food safety and quality and conducts educational programs that inform consumers about new products and new technologies.

Dr. Bruhn is ready to clear up controversies on everything from the safety of bagged salads to how to properly prepare a burger, and most importantly, she's here to answer your food safety questions.
